Dataverse for Teams environments are being decommissioned
Dataverse for Teams environments are deprecated. Environments not upgraded to Dataverse were suspended on September 15, 2026, new ones can't be created from November 15, 2026, and anything still not upgraded is decommissioned on October 30, 2027, taking its apps, flows, agents and data with it. Upgrading needs enough tenant Dataverse capacity, and users need premium licences afterwards.

Good to know before you start
- In the drill, choosing Upgrade to production upgrades the environment straight away. In the real admin center you're first shown what upgrading means and asked to confirm.
- The upgrade is blocked with an error if the tenant doesn't have as much free Dataverse capacity as the environment uses. Afterwards, the environment counts toward the tenant's Dataverse capacity, and its apps, flows and agents need Power Apps, Power Automate or Copilot Studio licences.
- Deleting is a command here too. In the real admin center you type the environment's name and select Confirm first.
